$2.5 Liberty Quarter Eagle 1840-1907 |
|
Like the larger denominations of this era, this design proved to be an enduring one. Indeed, it can be said to be even more true of the Quarter Eagle than of the other Eagle issues of this era, as while other denominations underwent minor modifications in design, this one saw only one hardly noticeable design revision beginning in 1859. This denomination was produced at all of the Branch Mints, save Carson City.
